East Fútbol Club is a youth soccer club based in East Grand Rapids committed to developing confident & creative soccer players through a player-first, development-driven approach. We are open to all athletes looking for a club focused on true growth, excellence, and a love for the beautiful game.

Our ultimate goal is to prepare young players for the next stage of their personal and soccer journeys by nurturing decision-making, resilience, and leadership through the game.

Our Leadership

East FC is led by our co-founders, Fabian Rodriguez (Club Director) and Jesse Zamudio (Director of Coaching).

Fabian and Jesse are recognized leaders in the Grand Rapids soccer community and are two of the region’s top advocates for futsal-driven player development. Their combined experience, deep passion for the game, and commitment to a player-first development model are the driving forces behind everything that sets East FC apart.

At East FC, we are dedicated to fostering not just great athletes, but complete individuals — building technical skill, tactical intelligence, character, and a lifelong love for the game.

INAUGURAL SEASON Teams

In our inaugural season, East FC launched with nine carefully selected teams, despite welcoming over 300 players to our first tryouts. This was a deliberate decision rooted in our commitment to quality over quantity.

At East FC, we believe that every player deserves a high-level coaching experience, individualized attention, and a clear development pathway — not just a jersey. Rather than expanding rapidly, we prioritize thoughtful team formation, ensuring that every player is placed where they can grow, compete, and succeed. As we continue to grow, this commitment to doing things the right way will remain the foundation of everything we do.
